What is Dianetics Counseling?

Researched and developed by L. Ron Hubbard, Dianetics technology is a science of the mind. The word comes from "dia" (Greek for through) and "nous" (Greek for soul). Unlike any previous study of the mind, it is a technology which identifies and eradicates the true source of all pain, loss and unhappiness which makes us react to things irrationally. This source is aptly called "The Reactive Mind".
Clear
When rid of the influence of the Reactive Mind, one becomes "Clear" — a person who can be happier, think more clearly and operate more effectively in life.
Auditing
Using the process of "auditing", an auditor listens ("audit" is Latin for listen) and asks questions to help guide the person, called a "preclear" (one who is not yet Clear) toward greater states of awareness.
